1050 – 02 – Uses for sawing

Throughout the metalworking industry, sawing is typically used as a way to prep material for further machining. It can also be used to remove extraneous material later on in the machining process. Sawing is seen as a job that requires a lower skill level than in other positions in the shop.

As we look at the how saws have adapted to the modern era we see that the have a use in more difficult tasks. They have even been used to replace other machines in these tasks.
