If you are cutting a particularly unique workpiece or a bundle of strangely-shaped pieces, be sure to cut at the point that is widest. If the width of the material varies, you need to pick a blade with enough gullet capacity to accommodate the largest portion. You need to change your feed rate based on the qualities of your material.
When you reach the widest part of the cut, be sure to reduce the feed rate.
