Each department in a company contributes to the quality that is delivered to customers. Engineering needs to create products that satisfy customer needs. Production needs to make those products to strict specifications. Purchasing and sales need to deliver on time and accurately portray the product.

While each department has different jobs, every department needs to work together in order to ensure a quality product. Each member of the team must be prepared to work in unison to meet customer requirements.
